BTmix™ Launches New Website
The new website was created with the customer experience in mind, designed for compatibility with today’s browsers and mobile devices. Equally important is the design that truly speaks to who is BTmix, not just in what they do as a manufacturer of static mixers, but also conveys the spirit of the company’s culture.
The site integrates a simple to navigate format that overcomes some of the obstacles that some outdated websites have where it is often difficult to find what you are looking for quickly. The BTmix website is very intuitive to use, functional and engaging. The simple format allows customers to search the product portfolio and request a quote.
“Most web users will stay on a page for 5 to 10 seconds and if they can’t navigate the web page or find what they are looking for they leave. Sometimes that’s a potential customer that you will never see again. Our goal was to engage the user to stay on longer and enjoy the experience”, says the BTmix web designer.
Static mixers come in a variety of sizes and styles depending on the material being mixed and how the material is being dispensed. Two of the most common dispensing methods are a manually operated cartridge “gun” or pneumatic meter mix machinery. Static mixers provide a very efficient method of mixing two part adhesives. They are purposely chosen for their mixing ability depending on the viscosity and type of material used.
According to Paul Gossi, president of BTmix, “Static mixers are used in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, construction, signage, and electronics; basically anywhere that requires a permanent bond or protection from the elements. One major growth area for adhesives is in structural bonding; where many adhesive bonds are stronger than welding.”
One of the challenges in designing our web site was how do you take a static mixer and give it personality? We absolutely did not want to look like an industrial web site. What I love the most about ours is that it’s unique and more importantly, it supports our goal to support our customers” commented Paul Gossi.
BTmix was founded in 2000. It is a privately-held, engineering-based company that designs, manufactures and markets low-cost, disposable static mixers for two part adhesive applications.
